When i read this book, this book make me sad a lot because of the situation of mami with her alcoholic husband. In my future i'am not gonna stay with a man who is not working only drink alcoholic.
When I read this book. I realized that there is always something good that comes out of a bad situation. The text book provided evidence that helps me can understand it. So in my future, when something bad happens I will expect for something good happens.
Before i read this book, i condemned all women who do some bad things like Mami did in the book. But now i see there some reasons who pouched them to do that. I wich to never have a husband like Papi in the future.

I agree with Gomes julio because Papi is the secondary character in The Color of My Words, Papi changed negative to positive. He was alcoholic and he doesn't work, but after Guario death he found the job to help the family.
